Animation MUMBAI: Looks like Motorola has decided that flagship phones should stop making users choose between power, performance and AI. The company has unveiled the Motorola Edge 70 Max, a premium smartphone that combines Qualcomm’s latest flagship processor, a massive 7,100mAh battery, AI-powered features and Motorola’s new cross-device AI platform, Qira, as it intensifies competition in India’s premium smartphone market. Priced from an effective Rs 49,999, the Edge 70 Max will go on sale from July 20 through Flipkart, Motorola.in and leading retail stores across India. At the heart of the device is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, which Motorola says delivers up to 36 per cent better CPU performance, 11 per cent faster graphics and a 46 per cent more powerful AI engine than its predecessor. The chipset is paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of storage, while a 5,500 sq mm vapour chamber with liquid metal thermal gel is designed to keep temperatures under control during intensive workloads.
