The trailer teases the arrival of Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom, one of the most formidable villains in the MCU. “Something’s coming, something we may not be able to deter,” Patrick Stewart’s Professor Xavier says in the clip. “Before this day is done, we will be faced with an unthinkable decision.” Chris Hemsworth’s Thor adds: “We’re going to need a miracle” to bring Doom down — but thankfully, it seems he has one in Steve Rogers (Chris Evans), who returns for the first time since Avengers: Endgame in 2019. Other Marvel characters in the trailer include Shang-Chi (Simu Liu), Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh) and the Thunderbolts, Namor (Tenoch Huerta) and the Black Panthers, Gambit (Channing Tatum), the Fantastic Four and Magneto (Ian McKellen) to name just a few.
