Home PM Shehbaz, President Zardari lauds forces for carrying out successful counterterrorism operations against terrorists Thirteen terrorists belonging to the Indian proxy Fitna al Khawarij were killed in two separate intelligence-based operations carried out by security forces in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the military’s media wing said on Sunday. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), an intelligence-based operation was conducted in Mohmand district following reports about the presence of Khawarij in the area. During the operation, troops effectively engaged a terrorist hideout and, after an intense exchange of fire, killed seven terrorists. In a separate intelligence-based operation conducted in Bannu district, security forces successfully neutralised six more Khawarij, the ISPR said. Both operations were carried out on December 12 and 13. The military’s media wing said sanitisation operations were ongoing to eliminate any other Indian-sponsored Khawarij present in the area.
