Demi Edmunds, from Caldicot, was pronounced dead at the scene after emergency services were called to the A4042 in Cwmbran, Torfaen, at about 12:25 GMT on Thursday. Demi's brother Jake said she was "the best sister I could've ever asked for". South Wales Police said the family had requested privacy and was being supported by specialist officers as enquiries continued. Parts of the A4042 were closed as police officers investigated the incident Jake added: "Me and her were very close, she was like a best friend to me that I could trust with anything and everything, but she's no longer with us anymore.
