You can check out at any time. More info A new direct train service will run between Llandudno and Liverpool from May 2026 according to Welsh Government. First Minister Eluned Morgan and Liverpool City Region Mayor Steve Rotheram met at Llandudno Junction station to discuss rail links, along with the chair of Transport for Wales Vernon Everitt. They confirmed that under Network North Wales the direct link between the resort and Liverpool will go ahead in the spring. They added that planned improvements at Padeswood will unlock freight and passenger capacity between Wrexham and Liverpool. “There is a long shared history between North Wales and Liverpool and these links can be further cemented with these improved transport links, which will be a boost for the economy.”
