The crash happened at junction 2 of the M602 where it meets Gilda Brook Road at Trafford Park/ Eccles. Traffic cameras showed very long queues. The incident happened on the westbound carriageway of the M602 causing 'long delays', according to traffic information service Inrix. A National Highways spokesperson said: "Following a multiple vehicle collision, the M602 is closed westbound within J2 (Eccles). All emergency services and Traffic Officers are working at the scene. Traffic is being diverted via the exit and entry slip roads at this stage." This is a developing incident. Please follow our live updates below.
