Home Fawad Alam known for his grit and reliability has been named as vice-captain The Pakistan Veterans Cricket Association has announced the 18-member national squad for the IMC Over-40s T20 World Cup 2025, featuring a blend of renowned former international players and consistent veteran performers. The squad was announced by Former Test Player and PVCA’s Chief Selector Ajaz Ahmed Faquih. Former all-rounder Abdul Razzaq, who represented Pakistan in 343 international matches across formats, scoring over 7,400 runs and taking more than 380 wickets, will captain the side. The inclusion of superstar Shahid Afridi, who played 524 international matches, scoring over 11,000 runs and claiming over 540 wickets will add immense firepower to the squad. Fawad Alam known for his grit and reliability has been named as vice-captain. He has amassed more than 2,000 international runs for Pakistan and brings valuable middle-order stability to the team.
