Arsenal have made Morgan Rogers their top transfer target this summer and are expected to test Aston Villa’s resolve. Standard Sport understands that Rogers is of genuine interest to the Gunners and that they are likely to make an approach to Villa in the hope of eventually agreeing a deal. Arsenal appreciate Rogers as a versatile No10 who is also able to play on the left wing. He was named Europa League player of the tournament as Unai Emery’s side beat Freiburg in the final in Istanbul to secure their Champions League return. Rogers, who has previously had interest from Chelsea, is currently in the United States on international duty at the World Cup with England. He has appeared as a substitute in both of their first two games against Croatia and Ghana.
