The actor, who plays Alexei Shostakov, also known as Red Guardian, revealed that the two groups will not always see eye-to-eye when they unite for the highly anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe film. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly during San Diego Comic-Con 2026, Harbour explained that the New Avengers will bring a different approach to saving the world compared to the original Avengers. He hinted that their opposing ideas could create tension within the team. “There’s trouble for sure,” Harbour said, explaining that the two superhero groups have different ways of handling challenges. He added that while the New Avengers believe they are making the right choices, others may not agree with their methods.
