LONDON: India have suffered a major setback ahead of the third and final ODI against England after premier fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah was ruled out with a knee injury. Captain Shubman Gill confirmed at the toss on Sunday that Bumrah had been left out due to a knee problem, with India making three changes to the side following their defeat in Cardiff. With the three-match series level at 1-1, KL Rahul returned after recovering from illness, while Prince Yadav and Arshdeep Singh were also included for the decider at Lord's. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed that Bumrah sustained the injury while fielding during the second ODI in Cardiff and was subsequently ruled out of the series decider after developing reactive swelling in his left knee. "Jasprit Bumrah sustained an impact injury to his left knee while fielding in the second ODI in Cardiff. He was not available for selection for the third ODI due to reactive swelling in his left knee," the statement read.
