Spain was scheduled to begin its session at 11 a.m. ET, and its bus arrived as scheduled to the facility. But a FIFA official told reporters at Spain’s training that there has to be 30 minutes without lightning before training can take place. Without a window to complete the work, Spain opted to the cancel the training. NEW YORK — It is lovely to catch up with an old friend. Perhaps after the World Cup final, Argentina manager Lionel Scaloni and his Spain counterpart Luis de la Fuente will get the chance. They've been seeing a lot of each other: Watching the World Cup on TV, scouting film ahead of the World Cup final and most recently sharing the stage at a Fanatics Fest event that also included former NFL star Tom Brady, NBA player Kevin Durant and tennis great Novak Djokovic.
