Armed police sealed off a street in Radcliffe, Bury, on Monday following "reports of a disturbance". Police officers were pictured outside a venue in Stand Lane, understood to be a massage parlour. After several hours, a man was arrested on suspicion of making threats with a bladed article, Greater Manchester Police said. The man will remain in custody for questioning, the force added. "We understand how alarming these incidents may be to local communities and the wider public, but I would like to reassure you that this was an isolated incident and our armed officers were on scene to manage any potential risk.
