Zardari Confers Tamgha-i-Imtiaz on PACCC President Naveed Anwar Chaudhry
Home President awards civil honour to US-based business leader at Islamabad ceremony on PM’s recommendation President Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday conferred the Tamgha-i-Imtiaz on Pakistan American Chicago Land Chamber of Commerce (PACCC) President Naveed Anwar Chaudhry in recognition of his efforts for the promotion of Pakistani exports. The award was conferred during a special ceremony held at the Presidency in Islamabad, on the recommendation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, where various personalities were decorated with civil awards in recognition of their services in health, education, literature, journalism, public service, research, diplomatic affairs, sports and the economy. The ceremony was attended by First Lady Aseefa Bhutto, the federal ministers, the Chairman of the Senate, parliamentarians, members of the civil society, diplomats, media and a large number of people. Chaudhry was awarded the civil honour in recognition of his services for promoting business relations between Pakistan and the United States, efforts to increase Pakistani exports to the US, and community services.
